2015 Trip Members
Taylor Allen
Taylor is a sophomore this year. Taylor is double majoring in International Studies and Spanish and minoring in Nonprofit Management. Her International Studies concentration in on Global Health and Environment. This is her first year in Timmy. She is part of both the Donations and Fundraising committees and the co-chair of Canning. She is also the Vice President of a nonprofit called Thirst Project that provides clean water to people in need. Global health is one of her greatest passions.
Colette Ciresi
Colette Ciresi is a sophomore majoring in biology. This is her first year in Timmy being part of the Community committee and hospital volunteering. Colette is also involved with S.T.A.R.S. biology research and the Hutton Philanthropy Initiative here at Indiana University. She hopes to one day be a physician or a medical researcher.
Kylie Culley
Kylie Culley is a senior majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. She hopes to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. Kylie has been involved with Timmy for the past two years in the Community committee. This is her first year going on the trip.
Ashley Jones
Ashley is a junior in the Indiana University School of Nursing Class of 2016. This year she has begun her clinical rotations within the Bloomington community working in areas such as orthotics/neuro, psychology, oncology, and pediatrics. Upon graduation, Ashley plans on working as a bedside nurse for a few years before returning to school to obtain her Nurse Practitioner degree. As a first year Timmy, she has become involved with the Community Committee and has enjoyed volunteering in various settings such as the rehabilitation unit at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital. In addition to becoming more involved with Timmy Global Health, Ashley works part-time at IU's Nursing Resource and Learning Lab.
Karen O'Brien
Karen is a junior studying Spanish with minors in Management and Latino Studies. After graduation, she hopes to work with a nonprofit student exchange organization. In addition to Timmy, Karen is a peer instructor for the Global Village LLC on IU's campus and a writer for IU Spoon University. This is Karen's first year with the IU Timmy Chapter.
Katie Russell
Katie is a junior majoring in Human Biology with minors in Psychology and Spanish. Along with Timmy, she is also involved in the IU Best Buddies chapter. After graduation, she plans to attend a Physician Assistant program. This is Katie’s second year involved with Timmy Global Health.
Petr Sliva
Petr is a sophomore majoring in Biology and Neuroscience with minors in Spanish and Chemistry. He is also on a pre-medical track. This is Petr's second year involved with Timmy Global Health. In addition to Timmy, Petr is involved with the Autism Mentoring Program, Alpha Chi Sigma, IUDM, and Intramural Sports.
Kristen Swanson
Kristen is a sophomore majoring in Biology and Neuroscience with minors in Chemistry and French. She intends to attend medical school. Kristen is also involved in Alpha Chi Sigma, the Autism Mentoring Program, Union Street Center Student Government, and intramural sports. This is Kristen's second year in the IU Timmy Global Health Chapter.
Stephanie Valencia
Stephanie is a sophomore majoring in Psychology with a certificate in Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish. She is following a pre-medical track in hopes of becoming a Pediatrician or practicing Family Medicine. She is also an executive board member of Psychology Club where she helps organize service events for the club. This is Stephanie's second year being involved in Timmy Global Health.

Madi Ashman
Madison Ashman is a freshman majoring in Biology with a minor in Nonprofit Management on the pre-medical track. Along with Timmy, Madison works at the IU Tennis Center and is involved in the IU Student Foundation, IUDM, and Club Tennis. This is Madison's first year in the IU Timmy Global Health Chapter.
Mackenzie Clinger
Mackenzie is a freshman studying Exercise Science with minors in Psychology and Chemistry. She plans on attending graduate school to become a physician assistant. This is her first year involved with Timmy Global Health.
Amanda Gray
Amanda is a senior double majoring in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Animal Behavior. She spends her free time writing for Spoon University at IU, enjoying the company of her 6 awesome housemates, and of course, volunteering with Timmy. After graduation, she will be taking a year off to work and apply to graduate school in some field of psychology. This will be Amanda’s third year involved in Timmy Global Health and her second time going on the trip.
Abby Prichard
Abby is pursuing her second Bachelor's Degree. She is a junior majoring in Exercise Science. Her first Bachelor's Degree is in French and History from Tennessee Technological University. She is currently following a pre-physical therapy/ pre-med track. In addition to involvement with Timmy, Abby also volunteers at Middle Way House. This is Abby's first year with Timmy Global Health.
Eleni Salyers
Eleni is a sophomore majoring in biochemistry. She is following the pre-med track. She is also working as a research assistant in Dr. Kevin Brown’s research lab at IU. This is Eleni’s second year in Timmy Global Health.
Michael Spors
Michael is a sophomore majoring in Human Biology. This is his second year with Timmy Global Health. He is passionate about confronting global health care disparity, learning from new cultures, reading, and being outside. He enjoys cauliflower, Janit Pandya, sensible footwear, John Green books, and complaining about winter.
Michelle Turner
Michelle is senior majoring in Biology with minors in Spanish, Chemistry and Informatics. After graduation, Michelle plans to take a year off to do more medical brigade service work abroad and then apply to IU School of Medicine for the entering class of 2016. Along with Timmy, Michelle has been heavily involved with Indiana University Dance Marathon for Riley Children’s Hospital throughout her time at IU. This is Michelle’s third year involved with Timmy Global Health and first year involved with Timmy Water Project.
Kokie Zimmermann
Kokie is a sophomore at Indiana University. She is studying Human Development & Family studies with a minor in spanish. She hopes to be a child life specialist. This is her first year with Timmy Global Health.

Hannah Eck
Hannah is a senior majoring in Human Biology with minors in Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology. After graduation Hannah plans to work for a year as a research assistant and then apply to graduate school. This is Hannah's second year involved with Timmy Global Health.

Janit Pandya
Janit is a junior majoring in Neuroscience and minors in Spanish and Chemistry with a certificate in the Liberal Arts and Management Program. He is following a pre-medical track. Along with Timmy, Janit is involved with the Indiana Journal of Undergraduate Research (IUJUR), the USC Conduct Board, and the Virtu Project. This is Janit's third year in the IU Timmy Global Health Chapter.
